Last year, organisers outlined their vision for A Christmas Miracle at Rough Castle.
However, the 1.4-kilometre-long route, near Tamfourhill, was unable to open due to the Scottish Government’s introduction of coronavirus protection levels.

Hide AdIt’s hoped to be a different story this year, though, as the organisers have unveiled how they’re going to “bring back some festive magic” for this December’s event.
The woodland at Rough Castle will be brought to life in a blaze of colour and light.
Those behind the project, Rough Castle Experiences, previously lit up the forest during a Legion display on the Romans.
The organisers have teamed up with Glasgow-based street food providers Big Feed who’ll provide festive snacks, while Scotland’s theme park M&D’s will provide fairground attractions.
