Cricket opponents in 2010

WITH the cricket season less than three months away, West Lothian County Cricket Association's fixture list for the forthcoming season has been unveiled.

County will play their first match of the SNCL Division 2 on Saturday, May 1, with a home fixture against Weirs, from Glasgow.

They follow this up with matches against Freuchie (a), Renfrew (h), SMRH (a), Ferguslie (h), Kelburne (a), RH Corstorphine (h), Edinburgh (a) and Dumfries (a).

County 1st XI have also been paired with Premier Division club Grange in the Scottish Cup first round match at Boghall on Sunday, May 9.

In the first round of the Murgitroyd/Masterton Trophy, County will meet Edinburgh (a). Tie to be played before May 21.

County 2nd XI begin their East League Division 3 season with an away match against Clackmannan County.

This is followed by Grange 3rds (h), Drummond/Trinity 1sts (a), Livingston 1sts (h), Dunnikier (a), Haddington (h), Murray-field/Dafs 2nds (a), Falkland 2nds (h) and Penicuik 2nds (h).

The third team is away in their first match to Marchmont 2nds, followed by Dunbar (a), Edinburgh South 2nds (h), Fauldhouse 2nds (a), Broomhall 2nds (h), Peebles County 2nds (a), Largo 3rds (a), RH Cor-storphine 3rds (a) and Livingston 2nds (a).
