Academy fencers at the sharp end 'Down Under'

TWO members of the Linlithgow Academy Fencing Club have been hand-picked to represent Scotland at the Commonwealth Fencing Championships in Australia.

Craig Davidson (25) from Gauze Place in Bo'ness and Mhairi de Sainte Croix (18) from Wallacestone, near Falkirk, have been chosen to form part of the Scotland squad that will represent the country at the competition in Australia.

Both fencers began their training in the sport at the Bo'ness Academy Fencing Club with Mhairi's father, Graeme de Sainte Croix, who was a teacher at the school and coach of the club.
