GOLFERS at Bridgend Golf Club dug deep when they staged a fundraising charity event.
More than 30 members and friends took part in the event to raise cash for Erskine Hospital, the charity which provides nursing and medical care for former members of the Armed Forces.

A similar event was staged last year when Derek Archibald and Hazel Myles hosted a golf day in honour of the late Alan Archibald, a local man and a former resident at Erskine Hospital. The event raised £1150 through the golf competition, a disco and a raffle. Hazel and Derek wish to thank all those who attended the event and donated prizes.

The winning team was David Williamson, Ronald McMeechan, Edward Green and James Deans.
