Bo'ness United face, in the words of assistant coach Paul McKinlay, their ''bogey team'' tomorrow in the Scottish Junior Cup first round.
Last season's four fixtures against Musselburgh Athletic resulted in only one victory for United. Twice they were beaten in cup ties and both times on penalty shoot-outs.

But United go into this encounter fresh from a penalty shoot-out victory aga
inst Kelty Hearts last Saturday in the East of Scotland Cup.
And McKinlay said: "We'll just go there and give it our best shot."

He is not getting over-confident, however, adding: "It's a hard first game (in the Scottish Cup), it's one of the good teams."

Goalkeeper Greig Logan is a definite starter tomorrow, having returned from a back injury last Saturday but Graeme Gaffney had to come off during the second half with hamstring trouble.

McKinlay was pleased with the performance against Kelty, which saw the team bounce back from a nightmare start.

"One of the boys slipped and the Kelty player went through and scored. "It was one of those unfortunate things," he said.

By half time United were leading 2-1 but lost "another bad goal" in the second 45.

"We gave away two goals and scored two good goals," said McKinlay.

With the result coming down to penalties, he added: "The boys did well.
"It was a good victory for them.

"The fans were happy - a lot of them were up at Kelty - and appreciated the boys had done a good shift."
