World Book Night at Polmont library
Bonnybridge writer Helen MacKinven and ex-policewoman turned author Karen Campbell will be answering questions at the event which will see free books being distributed to the community.
World Book Night is run by the Reading Agency and brings together a various partners - including libraries - to inspire more people to read.

Falkirk libraries have run an event in a local library since 2011 in a bid to share the book bug with people who don’t read regularly or own books.
Helen(pictured, right) writes contemporary Scottish fiction, with a particular interest in exploring themes such as social class and identity, using black comedy and featuring Scots dialect.
Her debut novel, Talk Of The Toun was set in Bonnybridge and published in October 2015.
The World Book Night event will be held at Meadowbank Library on April 23 between 7 and 9.30pm. Tickets are £5.50 or £2.75 for Go card holders.
