Fast food fans found something to smile about today as Grangemouth’s McDonalds restaurant and drive through re-opened today after undergoing a 44-day refurbishment.

The popular eatery, at Earlsgate Roundabout, closed down on September 12 for the work to be carried out, with management stating the new look venue would be worth the wait.

The premises, owned and operated by local franchisee Elliot Jardine, is one of the first McDonalds Convenience of the Future restaurants in the UK and Ireland.

The newly renovated restaurant will provide around 160 jobs for local people.”
