Baby of the week: Harry Main

Harry’s mum is Janette Mckinnon and his dad is Derek Main. He has a big brother, Dylan Mckinnon.

The family live in Falkirk.

Mum said the pregnancy was great. Harry is their little rainbow baby as they sadly lost a baby in February 2021. She found out she was pregnant on Dylan and her partner’s birthday. She said: “We were all over the moon when we were blessed with him.”

The name Harry comes from mum’s great uncle Harry, who sadly is no longer with us, and her favourite movie, Harry Potter.

Harry is a happy go lucky boy who is always full of smiles from the moment he wakes until he goes to bed. He loves his food and loves when mummy sings to him.

His proud grandparents are Margaret and Ian Macdonald and Lynne and Derek Main.

Mum said she would like to thank her mum and dad and her mother and father in law for all they have done and the support they give them. She would also like to thank her little sister Maggie who has been her rock through her miscarriage and pregnancy with Harry, adding “I don’t know where I would be without them”. She also expressed her gratitude to the staff at Forth Valley hospital. Mum has a special thanks to her partner, Derek and Dylan who she says has been a great big brother.
