Watch your speed!

MORE than 100 motorists have been caught in two weeks speeding on an access road being built for the new Forth Road Bridge.

Despite a temporary limit of 40mph, motorists have been caught driving at up to 73mph - with one car caught flouting the rules three times.

The average speed cameras were installed on the M9 at Junction 1a and on the M9 spur to ensure the safety of construction workers.

Lothian and Borders Safety Camera Partnership said there was “absolutely no excuse” for exceeding the limit.
