Volunteers needed for photography project
PHOTOGRAPHER Niki Collins is intrigued with the people of Linlithgow and wants locals to volunteer for a project that will highlight what makes the royal burgh unique.
Niki said: "As a visual person and an incomer to Linlithgow I have spent a lot of time observing locals and incomers in Linlithgow. There are some real characters that everyone recognises as regular faces on the High Street and others that pass us by but play a big role in the community.
"As a photographer I propose to do a study on individuals and groups of people that sum up Linlithgow for me. I am planning to capture people within their own environment whether that's a work place, home or leisure."
As part of the project, local artist Scott Fleming is also hoping to shoot a short documentary film that would be exhibited alongside the photographs to coincide as part of this year's Homecoming Scotland celebrations.
