Twin tune! Bo'ness pair win brass contest

THERE were double celebrations in the Hamilton household in Bo'ness last Sunday, after twins Christopher and Joanne took first and second spot in a musical competition.

The Borrowstoun Crescent duo, aged 14, represented UNISON Kinneil Band and Kinneil Youth Band respectively, in the Bill Shaw Memorial Slow Melody Contest at Lochgelly.

Christopher won the U-16s trophy – for the second year in a row – with his 'Demelza', and Joanne was runner up with 'Share My Yoke', winning a certificate.
