Good moo-ve for Ballantine's Iron Foundry

AN IRON foundry in Bo'ness have supplied the materials and crafted a work of art which is now part of the major refurbishment project in Stenhousemuir.

Ballantine's Iron Foundry was selected to work along side artist Alan Potter, who designed two huge Highland cows which are now a major attraction in the town.

General manager of the foundry, Gavin Ballantine was happy to have been involved in the project and is extremely proud of the work.

He said: "Artist Alan Potter came up with the design after winning a competition, then we were given the plans to sculpt the cows. We've worked on art projects before but this was quite special.
