Future of Bo’ness police station remains unclear councillors to be told

AN UPDATE on options for the future of Bo’ness police station will be given at a meeting of Central Scotland Joint Police Board’s physical resources committee today (Friday, February 3).

There are no identified locations to put to the community for consultation yet and no firm idea of the timescale was forthcoming this week.

Papers from director of finance and resources, Roddy Shearer, state: “The most attractive option for a police office which would provide the best service to our community is a shared facility within the town centre.”

For the full story, don’t miss this week’s Journal and Gazette, out today, February 3.
