Hide AdSheriff Derek Livingston referenced a background report which described Merrilees as “unsuitable for a drug treatment and testing order” and mentioned a “lack of motivation” on his part to engage with support services.
Addressing defence solicitor Martin Morrow, Sheriff Livingston added: “He expresses the view at various points he needs help with his drug habit.”
