Streets in Grangemouth were filled with police vans and cars earlier this morning as officers were out hunting for a suspect.
The vehicles parked up at flats and on the grass area behind Torwood Avenue and in Bowhouse Road just after 11am.
A Police Scotland spokesperson confirmed officers arrested a 27-year-old man.
It is believed police were responding to a domestic matter.
