Two Grangemouth shopkeepers were held at knifepoint by a pair of would-be thieves.

Castleton Mini Market was targeted by two men last Tuesday at around 5.40pm.

One of the suspects brandished a knife at the convenience store staff before the employees raised the alarm and scared the pair off.

Nothing was stolen from the Castleton Crescent shop.

Police attended and, while no-one was traced at the time, officers say they are now following a positive line of inquiry.
