Forth Valley police raid results in arrest and seizure of £3500 of class A drugs

A drug search of a premises uncovered class A drugs worth £3500 and several hundred pounds in cash this week.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officer’s from Alloa’s Community Policing Team, supported by our Operational Support Unit, executed a drugs search warrant at a flat in the Alloa area on Thursday,

"During this operation, class A controlled drugs valued at £3500 and several hundred pounds in cash were recovered. A 48-year-old female has been arrested and charged in connection with the recovery and will appear in court.

“We acted on information and concerns from the public, directly affected by the criminality operating from this address. This recovery has disrupted the ability of this female to supply drugs in the local area.

"The drugs destined for Alloa’s streets have been seized.”
