Camelon domestic offender gets another chance to stay out of prison

Appearing at Falkirk Sheriff Court last Thursday, Connor McAlphine, 21, had previously pleaded guilty to threatening behaviour and assault – throwing items at and pushing his ex partner – at his 1 Mariner Road, Camelon home on June 26 last year.
The court heard McAlphine had so far completed 49 hours of the unpaid work element of his community payback order.

Hide AdUnfortunately he was said to have “prioritised his employment” over his unpaid work.
It was stated it was seasonal work which had now come to an end and McAlphine was ready to complete the 26 hours he had left.
Sheriff Alison Michie allowed McAlphine’s existing order to continue until it comes to an end on March 9 next year. She fixed a review for December 14 to see if he had completed his work hours.
