Patience has run out for an offender who smashed a window at Falkirk Sheriff Court and failed to show up at the building on numerous occasions due to supposed injuries – including a “broken neck”.

At an earlier court appearance William Marshall (37) pleaded guilty to recklessly destroying property – smashing a window by kicking it – in the Falkirk Sheriff Court building on July 13, 2020.

Back in February the court heard Marshall, supposedly injured when he fell from a significant height, had now been released from hospital and was recovering at his 76 Duke Steet, Denny home.

On Thursday, following yet another non appearance, it was stated Marshall’s health was “very poor” and he had been “in and out of hospital” for a number of months with a “serious injury to his neck” and now a broken ankle.

Sheriff Christopher Shead said there was a lot of time being wasted in this case and issued a warrant for Marshall’s arrest.
