THE word is out! Inkspot and Silverleaf Booksellers in Bo’ness has been named in The Independent’s list of Britain’s 50 best bookshops.

Owner Karen Millar was thrilled to learn the news, which came as complete surprise, saying: “One of my friends sent me a quick email, as did one of my customers, and I was just over the moon.”

The exclusive list, published last Friday, only has 11 Scottish entrants ranging from Wigtown to Durness.
