ZOE Sayers will be hitting Himalayan heights this summer, after being chosen for a once-in-a-lifetime mountaineering and scientific research expedition.
The S5 Bo'ness Academy pupil, keen to study geology or physical geography at uni, will be contributing directly to international climate change studies on the British Schools Exploring Society (BSES) trip.

During five weeks in July and August this will include NASA glaciology data collection, a WWF (India) botany project and a Royal Meteorological Society climate change venture.

To support Zoe's expedition, email her at sayers_zoe@yahoo.co.uk and check out www.boness2thehimalayas.com for blog updates.

For more on the exciting adventure see the Journal and Gazette out on Friday April 23.
