THE swashbuckling Scot believed to be the ''real'' Robinson Crusoe has descendants living in Bo'ness, it has emerged.
John McAvoy of Newtown Cottages, contacted us after a ''Peep at the Past'' appeal a fortnight ago for readers to help put a name to a young girl in a black and white image.

And his family tree shows that he's connected to one of Scotland's greatest literary heroes.
