PUPILS at Queensferry High have helped the school to design its own tartan.
The idea came from a group of senior pupils, who wanted to create a new tie to make fifth and sixth-year pupils stand out from those in the junior school.

The senior pupils were asked to design a school tartan and Gemma Ruickbie and Rachel Buntin, both 17, came up with the winning design, "Ferry Fling".

For full details see this week's Journal and Gazette, on sale from Friday, March 5.
