Take a trip through time in Linlithgow, Queensferry and Bo'ness
THIS week's trip down memory lane goes back to the war years.
The photo shows the Kirkliston Home Guard, taken during the Second World War, at their local headquarters at Breastmill.
On the front row far left is Eck Robertson, whose son Alec very kindly submitted in the picture.
His friend Jock Small is second from the left in the back row, but no one else can be identified.
If you can identify any of the men, we'd love to hear from you. Send an e-mail to editorial@journalandgazette.co.uk, call our reporters on 01506-844592 or write to us at: Journal and Gazette, 114 High Street, Linlithgow EH49 7AQ.
If you have an old photo that you think may be of interest to our readers, send it with details to the above address. Photographs are returned after publication – please remember to include your name and address.
