Bo'ness Fair Football 1976

THIS week's vintage picture was submitted by Tom Burns of Bo'ness, currently one of the Bo'ness Fair primary football tournament organisers.

Tom is pictured as a school boy, clutching the gleaming silver bowl in the middle of this photo, which is believed to date from around 1976.

He was a member of a victorious Bo'ness Public School side that won 2-1 at Douglas Park in the final of a Fair competition, being presented with the silverware by John Lapsley (centre).

Team mates included Kenny Frank, Raymond Currie, Tommy Rollie, Colin Campbell, Jim McMinn and Thomas Rooney.

Do you recognise any of the lads in the picture?
