Forth Valley games firm takes its trains to Switzerland
Forth Valley company Rivet Games has newly launched “Train Simulator 2020: Swiss edition”, which allows anyone interested in iconic famous railway journeys to drive or travel along two legendary Swiss rail routes - the Gotthardbahn and the Bernina Line.

The game itelf is a decade old, but the 2020 version is said to reach new heights of visual realism including ambient light and sunlight strength,
Rivet Games, based in Stirling were the developers of both included routes - a meticulously modelling of 110km

Hide Adof the Gotthardbahn from Erstfeld, on the North side of the Alps, to Bellinzona near the Italian border.
Players take “the iconic Re 460 locomotive in SBB livery” along the classic Alpine route, driving the
double loop of Wassen, “allowing the famous church of Wassen to be seen three times from three
different perspectives”.
The other route included allows players to explore the challenging Alpine valleys along the Bernina Line from Poschiavo to Tirano.

Hide AdPlayers can take the famed Bernina Express train to its Italian terminus, traversing the iconic Brusio spiral viaduct and
running through the streets of Tirano.
You may have to supply your own buffet car, but everything else for the perfect train adventure seems to be included.
