Falkirk eatery named Best Asian Restaurant of the Year
and live on Freeview channel 276
Sanam Tandoori, in Callendar Road, saw off stiff competition to be named among the winners at the annual Scotland Asian Restaurant Awards.
The Indian restaurant was awarded the title virtually on Monday when the award ceremony was broadcast online due to Covid-19 restrictions.

Hide AdMore than 50 Asian restaurants were nominated by the public.
These were then narrowed down to just 15 winners and two highly commended, recognising the best Asian, Chinese, Japanese and Nepalese restaurants and takeaways in the country.
Yawar Khan, Asian Catering Federation chairman, said: “I would like to thank all our sponsors, supporters and members who have made these awards possible.
“The Scottish Asian Restaurant Awards are a key event for our industry.
